My Top Travel Destinations

Article written by David Guillod.

One of my all-time favorite activities to do in my spare time is traveling. Simply visiting a city or country that I have never been to before to learn about the culture is not only eye-opening, but life changing. Seeing through the eyes of another local and experiencing life in his or her shoes can truly change one’s perspective on living

New York City, New York

New York City holds a special place in my heart. It’s a destination that I always take my daughter to at least once a year. The hustle and bustle of this magnificent city, along with its breathtaking sights, never fails to put a smile on my face. Moreover, New York is where my family is from, and spending time with them when I do get a chance to never fail to end with laughs and good times. Family, as most of you can relate, is extremely important to me and always keeping in touch with them is something I prioritize.

New York City remains my favorite place to travel to, and is my favorite island. In addition to the extended family I have living there, I adore the city because of how unique it is compared to other destinations I have seen. Personally, I believe it’s one of the most exciting places to visit due to how active it is. There’s always something new and exciting going on – which makes it so captivating and intriguing.

Rome, Italy

Another destination that ranks at the top of my list is Rome. Italy is personally one of my favorite countries to visit, but there is something uniquely special about Rome. Catholicism has played a huge role in my life, and this magical city is one of the places where I truly feel connected spiritually.
