Packing light is every traveler’s achievement. If you forget any essential items, you will end up disappointed and sped extra cash to purchase replacements. If you also pack too much, you end up burdened with heavy bags and are forced to gush extra cash to pay for extra luggage fee at the airport. Packing a single suitcase is an art and a process. Here are major tips that will ensure all your equipment fit into one suitcase.
Have a packing list: Make a packing list based on the kind of travel. Once you are ready to travel, have a packing list at least two days before the date; this will provide ample to prioritize on the equipment needed for the vacation.
Roll, do not fold: When packing your clothes, do not fold them, instead, roll them tightly. Compactly rolled clothes take up less space as compared to folded ones and are less prone to getting fold creases saving you ironing costs.
Pack dual-purpose gadgets: If an item is two in one, it is less one item to pack. Pack dual-purpose items such as jackets that roll to traveling pillows and pants that turn into shorts as they save on space.
Follow the 3-1-1 rule: When packing your items, follow the Transportation Security Administration’s rule, which requires you to pack liquids and gels in 3.4-ounce bottles or smaller. While this saves you from trouble with the authorities, it also ensures that you fit the small bottles in your suitcase thus no extra luggage.
